ImageBlogging has helped countless companies develop an impressive and immediate line of communication between employees and customers (current and future). We talk a lot about driving traffic to your blog and / or the site with quality content and interesting topics. We talked (and spoken) about how to track your sites statistics. However, the most basic key to a successful blog is to have efficient management.

Managing a blog, in many ways, is like running a business – start with a solid foundation and branch. Check out these 10 quick tips to manage your blog:

1. Make a Plan – It is important to start out (or continue) a blog that establishing a viable plan or timetable. Some things to consider when creating this tool of organization is: (1) how long it takes to be consistent with the blog, (2) that will be involved in writing / editing blog content, (3) what is the overall objective.

2. Be flexible – Equally important is to stick to the plan, it’s important that you adapt the plan to achieve the same overall objective. For example, if you are getting a lot of traffic and interest on a specific topic, they deviate from the original schedule to elaborate on that topic for your audience. Remember this blog is not just for you to get your name, but you are providing quality content that the public / customers want.

3. Categories & Tags – One of the biggest mistakes that bloggers categories and labels used improperly. The categories should be comprehensive descriptions of what your blog post, think of them as a bunch of boxes of navigation to your blog. Along with this, only use one or two categories for a post. Tags are additions to its category, and you should always try to use the same code several times to help the search for specific topics. Usually under ten labels are suggested by post to maximize search capabilities.

4. Use Your Blog Statistics – It is important that you review your daily blog statistics. I, however, preface this statement with which not just sit there and look at their statistics. You have a lot of information in their statistics through the blog and using Google Analytics. Enjoy the reports and adapting their current plan to use the knowledge you have in front of you.

5. Create time for social networks – The conclusion is that blogging is not just about writing the messages, but also on the networks through other sites. Allow time for you to visit these sites (like Twitter), and spread the word of your blog by adding quality experiences in a network with the remainder of the blogosphere.

6. Reacting to the comments positive or neutral – obviously going to want to respond to your comments if positive … after all, is a pat on the back for you. However, let those positive comments build off of it and can respond to them as a group at the end of the day. The only time I would suggest that you respond to a comment once it is ….

7. Reacting to the negative comments – is almost inevitable that you get some kind of criticism in his blog the experience, you can not make everyone happy, right? Respond to this kind of immediate and effective feedback. Make sure you remain positive (not the defense), and clarify unclear points that are raised by the comments, and ensure the visitor is going to look into the matter and respond if you do not know the answer immediately.

8. Links to the chain – input and outgoing are some of the most important aspects of work (and management) of a blog. How to link things can significantly alter the experience of a visitor on your website, however. Ensure that all internal links (links that connect to other pages or messages on your site) stay within the same page, while external links (links that connect to other sites) open in another browser window. Allow external links open in a separate browser allows your visitors to easily keep their experience with your site.

9. Spread the word – As a blogger you need to stay abreast of industry blogs up there. It will show you all the industry trends and deliver some of the most important to date news that is relevant to your customers / audience. However, do not try to reinvent the wheel – forward or post on the wheel and the link to the source. I will stress this point – link to the source. Your audience will appreciate that you took the time to transmit the information to be found with them. You just make your life easier.

10. Be consistent – Managing a blog can be a very daunting task. Among follow the plan, altering the plan, reading other blogs, the maintenance of their links and everything else will have to be very consistent with his blog. This will also help to establish and maintain a robust public in return for more.

In general, the management of a blog can be a challenge, but if you can implement the tips on your life will be much easier.
